Each season, the DOMREBEL art collective creates original paintings, drawings and sculptures in their Montréal studio. The artists use cartoon characters as a way to tell stories and express themselves.

The original artworks inspire an ever-evolving ready-to-wear range, and are adapted to clothing items using innovative printing and decoration techniques, many of which are developed within the DOMREBEL atelier in Montréal.

The majority of DOMREBEL products (90% of each collection) are manufactured locally in Canada. This is something the brand has been doing since its inception in 2003, to ensure quality, efficiency and sustainability.
Many decorations and hand-treatments are performed by artisans within the DOMREBEL atelier in Montréal. This dedication and commitment to detail has been at the heart of the brand since 2003, when the founders would make their artisanal t-shirt in their parents' garages. Today, industrial techniques are developed in-house, while mainting a DIY spirit and craft.
THE NAME DOMREBEL IS AN ACRONYM THAT STEMS FROM THE LATIN WORDS "DOMINUS REBELLIS", WHICH TRANSLATE TO "MASTER OF REBELLION".
THIS SPIRIT OF ANTI-CONFORMITY AND SUBVERSION LIVES WITHIN EVERYTHING WE DO AND REPRESENT.

D.R.S.M. ATELIER
The DOMREBEL art collective works out of a Montréal studio, dubbed "D.R.S.M. - DOMREBEL STUDIOS MONTREAL".
Located in the St-Henri neighbourhood in downtown Montréal, the D.R.S.M. space is where artists and craftsmen work on garment treatments, textile decorations, pattern-making, paintings, drawings, sculptures and other artistic mediums.
