FOR d.r.s.m. 003, the domrebel art collective presents oil pastel and acrylic works on canvas that use original characters as vehicles for expressing inner angst and emotions. these expressions of inner struggles are communicated through dynamic and moving characters, in expressionist and art brut style that flirt with abstraction. the buildup of textures and the raw nature of the art pieces (which live on umounted canvas), carry over into the ready-to-wear collection through the treatment of fabrics, printing and decorations, with the same spirit of imperfection.
